HFC United's Website is Moving

Demosphere - Home | Facebook

HFC United is switching sports management platforms, and along with this , a new website will be launched.

This website, hfcsoccer.org, will be shut down on or before mid-August.

HFC United's NEW website will be hfcunited.org.

Demosphere has been chosen as HFC United's new sports management platform and website host.  Demosphere is a family owned and operated company, and has been in business for almost 30 years.  The switch to Demosphere will benefit HFC United in many ways:

  • Saving Money- The monthly service fees charged to HFC United are much less than with SportsEngine, the platform HFC United is ending.

  • Saving Team Managers & Administration Time-  Demosphere can capture more required US Soccer data fields (NDC) upfront at registration- saving team managers and administrators time from collecting copies of birth certificates, player profile photos, and medical waivers.

  • More Registration Options-  Registration can be created and be "live" instantly, unlike SportsEngine's five business day waiting period.  Team-level fees can be created for those teams who elect additional tournaments, or have coaching fees.  More options are available for members when registering for a program, such as more payment plan options, and reminders of expiring credit/debit card disbursements.

Please note that our new website will be "soft launched," with more and more content being added during the build-out of this new website.

HFC United Awarded the Target Youth Soccer Grant

HFC United was a recent recipient of a $1,000 grant from Target Corporation.  The Target Youth Soccer Grant provides support for player registration fees, player and field equipment, and training and professional development for volunteer coaches.

HFC United, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that is committed to providing a quality soccer program in Hastings and the surrounding community.

The funds will be used to implement US Soccer's "Play, Practice, Play" model by purchasing fun and exciting equipment for HFC United's recreational soccer program to encourage a life-long relationship of youth members to the sport of soccer.

The funds will also be used to purchase header training balls to teach HFC United's younger competitive traveling players the correct, and safest way, to perform a header while adhering to US Soccer's youth header restrictions.

The remaining funds will purchase two sets of the "Training Triangle" system- one for the Girl's U12 Cities team, and the other for an HFC United Boys team.  The "Training Triangle" system was created by former Penn State men's soccer coach Bob Warming to strengthen a players speed and agility, as well as perform tactical drills without the use of a training mannequin.
